Judy grew up in Youngstown, Ohio, where she attended Youngstown State University majoring in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. After moving to Toledo she focused on raising her 3 children while earning her teaching certificate from the University of Toledo.  She spent numerous years in several roles working with Toledo Public Schools as well as earning her Masters Degree in Reading and Administration which led her to her role as a principal.  Judy has worked in administration for Springfield Local Schools and as a consultant for Lucas county's charter school division at the Educational Service Center.  During this time she was hired to be the founding principal of Bennett Venture Academy where she served for 7 years until her retirement.  Her first role with Spring Green was as a parent educator for the Diversion Youth Program.  Now she divides her time between a part-time position at Dillards and her new role as the Board Treasurer.

"If you really knew me...you'd know my joy is spending time with my 4 grandsons, my cat Thomas and my 4 'grand dogs' and 'grand cat.'  I've discovered that I am both an introvert and extrovert, which has taught me how to equally value my alone time and enjoy social activities with family and friends."
