Next Step & B.A.C.

Next Step

Next Step is a healing workshop SGEF offers three times a year, focusing on providing powerful means for dealing with personal struggles and how they impact and interfere in our relationships.  While we all have some form of trauma in our lives, Next Step allows participants to focus on healing, connecting, and equipping for personal challenges, using the life experience as a learning tool.

B.A.C. (Building A Community)

B.A.C. is a program offered solely to those individuals who have participated in the Next Step workshop.  We recognize the significance of having a healthy community to support and sustain a life where you choose to live in personal growth and strength.  Often participants are looking for an environment where they can continue to nurture the skills and tools they developed through their workshop weekend.  B.A.C. gathers on a monthly basis to focus on community, connection and continued equipping.  Members of this group are able to receive ongoing support both individually as well as collectively through activities.  There are also divisions of B.A.C. called Sister Circle as well as Guys Group that focus specifically on intimate gatherings to discuss issues centered around issues for women or men.

“Community is much more than belonging to something; It’s about doing something together that makes belonging matter.”
